Live Bluegrass Music
Enjoy the afternoon sippin' on spirits while you relax with our three Bluegrass Bands setting the vibe!
Formed in 2011 the No Man's String Band brings you bluegrass tradition and it's future.  Their debut album, "Let The Truth Be Told" was released in 2013, they began hosting the bluegrass music series "Cuttin' Grass" in 2014 as well as were featured on a compilation released by Old Hand Record Company and in 2015 they were awarded Champions of the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association's Race For A Place band contest. Members of the No Man's String include Justin Rosckes on guitar, Melissa Hentges on accordion, Nic Hentges on mandolin, Lindsey Bordner on fiddle, and Pat Loftus on bass. 21st century bluegrass at its finest.
Kim and Quillan were married in the spring of 2003, and soon Kim was asking Quillan if they could start a band together; Quillan said, “No. Husbands and wives shouldn’t be in bands together. It’s a terrible idea!” But Kim persisted and kept asking to start a band together, and Quillan kept saying, “No.” That same year, however, both June Carter and Johnny Cash died, and a local bar, Lee’s Liquor Lounge, organized a tribute to them and their music. Quillan wanted to perform at the tribute but his band at the time, Accident Clearinghouse, was on hiatus. So with the tribute’s promoter on the phone, Quillan asked Kim if she still wanted to start a band together. Not knowing that Quillan meant right then, she answered enthusiastically, “Yes!”
The Foxgloves are a six-piece all-female band with songs you won’t be able to stop humming. Their engaging presence, rich instrumentation, compelling storytelling songwriting, four-part harmonies, and creatively reimagined covers render them a force to be reckoned with. This powerful band is making moves you’ll want to witness. A little bit of country, a little bit of folk, a little bit of classical, and a whole lot of heart — your toes will tap of their own accord.
