In anticipation for Grandma's Marathon this weekend, we have rounded up some of our favorite Duluth bars, breweries, and restaurants for you to visit!
Our friends at The Bridge Cocktail Room have not just one, but three amazing craft cocktails made with our spirits! Their curated cocktail menu includes a collection of classics and creative drinks, and they're in the Canal Park area of Duluth.
You can find our Barrel-Aged Gin, Border Bourbon, and Richmond Rye in cocktails on their summer menu. We'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite, but the Paper Plane with our Richmond Rye is an absolute delight!
The Bridge Cocktail Room is the collaboration of two friends, Jeffrey Zervas and Cullin Johns. With years of experience in the food and beverage industry, they imagined a place with adventurous and creative craft cocktails in the Canal Park area of Duluth, Minnesota. They believe in quality, experience, and being approachable - "because great nights out should be for everyone". The name is inspired not just by Duluth's iconic Aerial Lift Bridge, but also by the idea of building bridges - "between old school and new cool, between craft and comfort, between you and your next favorite drink".
🥂 Pickwick
This James Beard award-winning restaurant, located right along Lake Superior, has crafted a delicious and refreshing spritz with the 45th Parallel Vodka and Limoncello! Pickwick is a longstanding staple in Duluth - they opened in 1914! Affectionately called "The 'Wick", the restaurant and full bar serves a variety of pub food, and is known for its homemade soup and award-winning, chargrilled steaks.
Nothing is better than a drink with a view, and Canal Park Brewing has that and more! You can find the Golden Hour on their menu now, which is a cocktail that features our Limoncello alongside gin, citrus, basil, and topped with rosé.
This local and family-owned brewery has a full restaurant, where we enjoyed every bite, and has six award-winning craft beers on top of many others. CPB also strives for sustainability through solar energy - "In 2018, we installed 38 low-profile solar panels on the roof of our brewery. We're always working to find better ways to make our business more sustainable and environmentally friendly."
For an eclectic dive bar experience with craft cocktails, this is a must-visit spot on Central Avenue in Duluth. Jade Fountain Cocktail Lounge opened in 2020, taking the space of an old Chinese restaurant (and leaving all of the amazing decor and ambience in place).
